Founder / CEO
Graduated from the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Engineering at Kansai University. He has Founded, managed, and sold several IT companies. In 2022, he founded AstroX Inc. as a space business that he had wanted to be involved in since childhood. He is developing small rockets with the aim of resolving the shortage of launch vehicles (satellite launch rockets) in Japan's space development.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Professor at the Space Transportation Engineering Laboratory of Chiba Institute of Technology. Received his PhD (Aerospace Engineering) from the Graduate University for Advanced Studies. In 2018, he successfully launched a small rocket from his university at sea, and in 2023, he developed a small sounding rocket capable of reaching the stratosphere and launched it at sea. At the same time, he is engaged in research into rocket air launch systems, and joined AstroX to realize air launch of rockets from balloons.
Executive Officer
He was the first launch executive officer for the H-IIA rocket. He joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. in 1975. He is involved in the development and launch of liquid rocket engines and aircraft. He is a leading expert in Japanese rocket development, with experience in the development and launch of Japan's large rockets from N1 to H-IIB. He has served as executive director of Japan Manned Space Systems Corporation for 12 years since 2011, and has extensive experience in business strategy. He will also be involved in
